Shared purpose.

01

Mission

To strengthen cooperation among nongovernmental organizations and their constructive engagement with the United Nations. CoNGO supports multilateralism, encourages civil-society participation throughout the UN system, and helps its international membership contribute more effectively to peace, human rights, sustainable development, humanitarian action, and other globally agreed goals.

02

Potential role

Connect AI for Peace with a broad international network of civil-society organizations and help participating NGOs navigate the United Nations system. Through the emerging Civil Society Institute, CoNGO could support Indigenous knowledge, Earth stewardship, community journalism, and civil-society engagement with the UN; help identify organizations capable of contributing team missions; and participate in Peace in Progress broadcasts during the 11 Days to Prove Peace Is Possible.
